We are pleased to announce that the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) has officially joined the Biocontrol Coalition as a Supporting Member. The NAK, a leading public body that covers the entire domestic food chain, agricultural production activities, and rural development in Hungary, brings a wealth of experience and commitment to sustainable agriculture to our coalition.
The Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture has been instrumental in advancing the Hungarian agri-food economy. As a flexible and professionally qualified organization, the NAK is dedicated to enhancing the agricultural sector while safeguarding health and the environment—a mission that aligns closely with the goals of the our Coalition.
In joining the Biocontrol Coalition, the NAK has expressed its belief that collaboration among stakeholders is essential for driving sustainable agriculture forward. Their participation will significantly contribute to our advocacy efforts and help amplify our message for the EU to rethink its framework for agriculture and food, particularly for biocontrol. This will enable innovation which is essential for the future of sustainable agriculture.
We are excited to have the NAK on board and look forward to the valuable contributions they will make to our collective efforts. Their membership marks a significant step towards broadening our coalition’s impact across the agricultural sector.
Calling all farmer organizations: Join us in advancing sustainable agriculture
The Biocontrol Coalition is proud to currently include two distinguished members from farmer organizations: the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) and ASAJA (Asociación Agraria Jóvenes Agricultores) from Spain. Both of these organizations play an important role in shaping the future of sustainable farming practices, representing farmers interests.
We believe that the insights and experiences of farmer organizations are crucial in shaping effective and sustainable biocontrol strategies. By joining the Coalition, you will be part of a collaborative network working towards the shared goal of promoting environmentally friendly agricultural practices and a bigger, and therefore more resilient, farmer toolbox.
If your organization is committed to advancing sustainable agriculture and contributing to the development of innovative biocontrol solutions, we invite you to join us. Together, we can make a significant impact on the future of farming.
